40 Days of Focused Prayer

 This time of focused prayer and devotion will help the church walk through the pastor search process underway now.  During these 40 days, spend time with God, praying for yourself and your church family.  Each day has a specific focus and a Scripture passage to read.  Unite with fellow Christians in agreement, lifting these requests to the Lord.  Trust God to hear, heal and answer as we spend time with Him during these 40 days.

​Day 1    Prayer:  That God will lead many to pray these 40 days.
Day 1    Reading:  Ephesians 1:1-3

Day 2    Prayer:  That all eyes and focus would be on Jesus Christ.
Day 2    Reading:  Ephesians 1:4-8

Day 3    Prayer:  That God would clean our hearts ---we need revival.
Day 3    Reading:  Ephesians 1:9-12

Day 4    Prayer:     That we will really listen for what God is saying to us.
Day 4    Reading:  Ephesians 1:13-16

Day 5    Prayer:    That each member will grow in their knowledge of Jesus.
Day 5     Reading:  Ephesians 1:17-21

Day 6    Prayer:      That He will give us pure hearts to seek His face.
Day 6   Reading:  Ephesians 1:22-23

Day 7   Prayer: For the Pastor Search Committee as they serve.
Day 7   Reading:  Ephesians 2:1-3

Day 8   Prayer:  Praise God for His abundant mercy!

Day 9   Prayer:  That God will show you the work He wants from you.

Day 10 Prayer:  For the deacons of the church.

Day 11 Prayer:  That the peace of God will guard our hearts and lives.

Day 12 Prayer:  For the worship and preaching of the Word to be anointed.
Day 12 Reading:  Ephesians 2:19-22

Day 13  Prayer:  For our worship leaders as we gather to worship.

Day 14  Prayer:  For healing and unity in the Body of Christ here.

Day 19  Prayer:  That the church’s leaders will be encouraged and united.

Day 20  Prayer:  That each member will grow in spiritual maturity.

Day 21  Prayer:  That God will reveal sin and purify His church.

Day 22  Prayer:  That we will deny self to live new lives in Christ.
